This fully furnished one bedroom casita (small house), located on the grounds of a private home in beautiful downtown El Valle offers a quite and tranquil setting - over one half acre of manicured grounds filled with tropical flowers and fruit trees, a koi pond and a bajio with BarBQ surround the casita. A short walk of only 1 block finds you in the heart of El Valle with it’s open air market, restaurants and other services.

The casita is bright, cheery and inviting with a comfortable living room with day bed, small kitchenette complete with gas cooktop and oven, frostless refrigerator, toaster oven, sink, all dishes, pans and utensils. The bedroom offers a king size bed with fresh linens, ample lighting and a bathroom with shower, fluffy towels and hot water. WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS INCLUDED ALSO.

Guests have complete access to the grounds, secure parking and private entrance. Maid and laundry service is included 3 times per week and can be arranged daily for an extra fee.

Policies

Deposit: A Refundable deposit of $150 for weekly rental or $450 for monthly rental is required to hold your reservation. This must be paid by credit card via Paypal. (instructions for making deposit will be sent upon request for reservation).

If you cancel: the entire deposit is refundable if the reservation is canceled 30 days or more before arrival date. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival date the deposit will not be refunded. (see below for more detailed explanation).

After departure: the deposit will be refunded MINUS charges for damage, missing items or other applicable charges. Refunds will be made promptly after inspection of property, however, the refund may take several days or weeks to post to your account depending on your credit card company.

Apartments are offered on a first come first serve basis. Availability cannot be guaranteed until deposit has been received.

Extensions / Tentative reservations: We cannot guarantee availability for time you have not booked. If you would like to extend your stay, you may make a request and if the unit is available we will extend your reservation. You will need to pay for the extended time in order to guarantee it’s availability. We will not hold units or make tentative reservations.

Travel Insurance: We encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance to cover medical costs of injuries or sickness during travel. Su Casa El Valle is not responsible for any injuries sustained on premises by the guest or other visitors.

Check in/out: Guests are required to check in and out with our contact in Panama City. Payment of balance due, collection of keys, cell phone etc. can only be facilitated in Panama City between the hours of 9am - 6pm. If your plans do not take you into the vicinity of Panama City, you will need to arrange alternative check in/out at time of booking. Alternative check in/out may incur an additional fee.
Rates: Rates are subject to change without notice. Rates are only guaranteed after booking is confirmed and you have paid the deposit.

Cancellations and refunds: Reservations must be canceled by guest, in writing at least 30 days prior to arrival date in order to receive a refund of your deposit. Refunds will not be given for early departure.

If it becomes necessary for Su Casa El Valle to cancel or modify this agreement due to occurrences outside the control of Su Casa El Valle, guests will be notified promptly and shall endeavor to offer the guest alternate property choices. The guest will have a choice of accepting the substitute property and paying or receiving the difference in rate for the new property, or Su Casa El Valle will refund for unused days. In the event of changes or complete cancellation Su Casa El Valle’s liability will be limited to the refund of all payments received. In no event will Su Casa El Valle be responsible for any consequential or incidental damages, including travel expense, alternative lodging, or other expenses.
Extra Services: All extra services must be paid in cash upon receipt of service. If an extra service is included in the price of the rental and is rendered by a third party (Internet, electricity, etc) and this service fails to operate through no fault of Su Casa El Valle, refunds will not be given if guest decides to depart early due to service failure.

Maid Service: Maid service is provided 3 days per week. Duties include sweeping, mopping, empty trash, bathrooms, kitchen, dusting, laundry - personal and towels & linens and other basic duties. Additional maid service is available for a charge, including cooking.

Number of Occupants: Su Casa El Valle reserves the right to cancel this contract, evict or refuse entry to parties who exceed the maximum number of occupants listed on confirmation and promotional material.

Animals: Pets are not accepted.

Children: Parental Guidance Required at all times. Su Casa El Valle does not provide babysitting services and we request that children under the age of 15 not be left on premises without adult supervision. Su Casa El Valle will charge for any injury or damage caused by children, including damage to the grounds, ponds, fish and other wild life.

Other Charges: We reserve the right to charge guests for excessive use, damage (beyond normal ware and tare) or theft of facility property and belongings. We encourage guests to advise us of damage and NOT to replace damaged item(s). Guest will be charged for item repair of replacement at the sole discretion of Su Casa El Valle regardless of whether the item has been replaced by guest. Damaged items are the property of Su Casa El Valle and removal of damaged items by guests will be considered theft.

Smoking: Smoking is allowed in outside areas only. All guest rooms are Smoke Free. A cleaning fee of $100 will be charges if smoking policy is violated.

Keys: $50 per set will be charged for each set not returned.

Cell phone: Damage or loss of cell phone or charge will result in a $75 charge.

Liability: By booking a reservation, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the company, owners, assignees, staff and other guests of Su Casa El Valle for ANY injury or damage incurred on premises or as a result of your stay here. Resolution of disputes will be handled by independent arbitration and follow the laws of the Republic of Panama. Persons making reservations are considered Guests of Su Casa El Valle and are not renters, leasers or sub-leasers nor does this contract constitute a rental or lease agreement. This contract constitutes a private agreement between parties for an exchange of goods and or services

Area and Attractions

El Valle de Anton, a beautiful mountain town 1 1/2 -2 hours from Panama City is located in the Central Cordilleran Rainforest of west central Panama. This lovely town, built in the crater of an extinct volcano is a weekend get away spot for residents of Panama City. The cooler temperatures have also attracted a permanent community of expatriates, giving the area an international flavor.

FAQ's

Is there internet access or wi-fi at the casita? Yes, wireless internet access is available throughout the casita and in the bbq area.

Is the casita attached to the main house? The casita is a separate building next to the main house with it’s own private entrance.

Can we rent the main house instead of the Casita? The main house is the private residence of the property owners and may be available for rent, please email us if you are interested.

Is there a large supermarket in El Valle? El Valle offers several markets where you can purchase basic needs and food stuffs, fresh vegetables and meat. A large american style supermarket (El Rey) is located in Coronado, about 45 minutes away.

Do I need a car if I am going to El Valle? Although you can hire a taxi or private driver to take you to or from El Valley, it is quite expensive. The bus is also an option if you are budget minded. We suggest you rent a car, it is less expensive and more convent than a taxi. And although you can walk to most all services from the casita, you might want to explore the surrounding area's which you will defiantly need a car to do.

Are utilities (electric, water and gas) included in the price? Yes, All utilities are included.

Are laundry facilities available on site? Maid service is included 3 times per week and this includes laundry service on site. You as a guest will not have direct access to the laundry facilities, however, the maid will be happy to wash, dry and iron any personal clothing, towels, linens etc.

Is there a telephone in the Casita? We offer guests a pre-pay cell phone for use while at the casita. This phone requires the user to purchase minuets for outgoing calls, incoming calls are free.

Can I rent the casita for long term - say 1 year? Currently we are only offering stays of up to 3 months, however, we may consider longer term stays on a case by case basis.

Can I have my dog or cat with me at the casita? Sorry, we do not allow pets at this time.

Are you child friendly? Children are welcome if they are accompanied by responsible adults at all times. Please read our policies relating to children, hazards and damages.
